Yesterday was the birthday of Rick Danko (Dec. 29, 1942 - 1999)
Bass player of The Band. One of the greats. Here playing pool with Neil Young. Danko contributed bass to a few tracks on Young’s On The Beach, most memorably on the attacking groove of Revolution Blues.
